Some good fishing bass spots I recommend if your traveling with the family.

1. Lake Okeechobee (Florida):

This place is like the holy grail for bass fishing. I’ve had some of my best days here. The key is getting out early or later in the day when the fish are more active. I usually work the shallow areas with a soft plastic or a jig.

2. Clear Lake (California):
I’ve fished here a couple of times, and there’s just something about this lake that keeps me coming back. The water’s so clear, you can see the bass just hanging out near rocks and weed beds. Crankbaits or drop shots do the trick.

3. Lake Guntersville (Alabama):
If you ever get the chance to fish here, do it. The structure of the lake is perfect for bass—they love those deep drop-offs and submerged ledges. I usually stick to spinnerbaits or swimbaits, working those grassbeds. I’ve had some real monster catches, but it’s all about timing. Early mornings or just before dusk are usually when you’ll get the best action.

4. Sam Rayburn Reservoir (Texas):
This place is special to me because it’s one of the first lakes I ever fished. It’s got everything a bass angler could want—deep points, submerged timber, and plenty of structure. I like to fish around the deeper spots, using jigs or swimbaits. It's a slower approach, but when you feel that bite, it makes all the waiting worth it.

Anyway, those are a few of my go-to spots for bass fishing. I’d love to hear if any of you have fished these waters and what worked for you.
