Tamaki yacht club on Tamaki dr
Across the rd from Kelly Tarltons before Okahu wharf
The inlet to Parnell baths on Tamaki dr
Mission bay, past the creek half way to Okahu wharf
There's a few more hidden spots along Tamaki dr
Lots of foul ground there, snaggy so use floating baits in all those spots except the inlet
The next wharf over from the Hilton hotel
All easy access well known spots & right now is the time of the season to target fish in close... about a 3-4 week window then its done for the season
Have seen snaps posted elsewhere up to 68cm come out of 2 of those places....but mostly in the 32-38cm range
You need overcast days, bumpy water, change of light & change tide together if possible
Forget about glass calm days with bright sunlight
You are fishing your feet, not casting to the horizon
Learn to catch baitfish at your feet, these fresh baits will out fish what you are using on the day
Personally, when land based, have always preferred last 2hrs outgoing or incoming going into change of light
Floating baits no swivels with perhaps 1/4oz sinker on top of the bait... good luck & don't post your successes on FB, every other clown will raid your spot haha
