Have you noticed the steady rise in prices for almost everything you need to make your own flies?     As a guy who likes to stack at least a hundred streamers into my fly box for a week's streamer fishing the Tongariro.     As this can become quite expensive I am always on the lookout for bargains.     Below are links to materials I have tested and can recommend

2. Streamer Hooks       https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32931645465.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.80.10721802QkcqgN         Size #4 hooks   The are beautiful light wire hooks which will open up slightly on a hard snag but have never done so on a trout.

3 .Soft silicon beads      Sea Fishing Accessories Beads | Fishing Lights Sea Fishing - 100pcs/lot Luminous - Aliexpress       6mm red beads have proven deadly on streamer flies.      The soft beads you can slide on after you tied the fly.

4. Marabou feathers     1 Meter Dyed Colorful Marabou Feathers Trim Fringe Clothing Sewing Decoration 8-10CM Soft Feather Ribbon Crafts Plume Wholesale - AliExpress     Mostly blood quills in all streamer colours.
