Day two saw me and my Mokau Aussie fishing mate Chris hit the big Snaps after four hours of patiently waiting
First up Chris hooked into a 9 kg Snap, and then ten minutes later i nailed an 11.4 kg Barrell. Probably one of the biggest headed Snaps iv'e caught and the back end was small. The Snaps were on a measure basis and top five lengths took the prizes. Mine 81 cm and Chris 78. I was defending me title and managed to take it out again with Chris getting 2nd. We were Rapt
Another typical example of the methods you can use in close verses a deep water big sinker drop to the bottom leger rig. Pic is of the 81cm Barrell. Cheers
Top effort Geoff, I'm guessing plenty of boats headed for the horizon. When will they learn.
