The esteemed Bushpig, Mayor of Swinewaka, has joined the ranks of the Fishing.net pinfish holders with his 104.7kg stripie.

This fish was caught during the Whangaroa One Base tournament and was good enough to win the whole kit and kaboodle. Its also the biggest marlin for his Mangawhai fishing club and there is no truth t0 the rumour that red carpet and ticker tape lined the main street as this humble man strolled in to the club with the official weighmasters certificate.

He's put a lot into it and thoroughly deserves this one. Of course he would have been nothing without his outstanding deckie but that's another story .. best told over and over at shoreboyz.

Good on you Bushie.

Nice one Bushy.

Certainly no Trevally tho.

Well deserved Bushie - Obviously the sounds were a key part of raising the fish!

Yepp damn rude, but I think you're gonna be subjected to a truck load more in the up in coming weeks my man.

You thought that was bad? you should of heard him when a good lure(a merlin) dissappeard forever inside a big marlins mouth busting for freedom, it was nearly as loud when the flying gaff wanted to f**k his calf muscle

Congratulations Bushie
but remember- Y.A.H !

Fantastic Bushie - well done. I agree with all the nice things that Bender said - except for the humble part. Bender lied about that.
