Took the mates for a spin yesterday and hauled in a few good big reds and a few kingys.

One of the bigger models i got we decided to keep for a feed and after dispatching it gutted it and put it on ice.

On examining its very full stomach content (which is a little odd as most of the time they throw it up when hooked) we found 3 mackerel and one very dead Blue Penguin!!

Was a first for me finding a bird in one but have heard of shear-waters being found in them but not penguins.

What wild and wonderful items, animals, or just strange stomach content have you found in your kingy's?

Anyone heard of penguins in kingfish below?

One full belly

That is both fascinating and disgusting.

How big was the kingy?

I had a few stuffed choker with blue cod. No wonder they are in short supply.

Might need to make up one of the Rat lures the yanks use to run across the rivers etc for Pike as a topwater lure.
