Hi All,

Does anynone have any images of a Van Staal 802 GT Rod? Looking to buy one

Cant find any pics on the net anywhere. Even cant get a response from Van Staal themselves.

Theres a few around for sale but strangly people dont seem to have full pictures of the rod.

Any pics would be appreciated

Pretty stiff cheaper rod for GT Popping, not that great for kingfish. Plenty of better rods in that price bracket for NZ waters.

Hi Fish I, Would like to hear your reccomendations? from what ive seen there isnt that much selection around for the price. The price I can get the VS 802 GT for is $250. What else is around for that?

that was my first topwater rod bit harder to swim the baits with but with a bit of practice caught a few good kings with it pm me your num and il send you some pics

Other options in the sub $250 price would be the fin nor troppo 8ft, pro hunter 7ft 6 topwater or if you can find them one of the ugly stick bluewater 7ft 6 rods. Not saying any are better then the one you are looking at. But just food for thought.
