For light goods up to 300gms and with a small volumetric size you may be looking around the $18-24 mark. I know reels are around $35 out of Plat to NZ. Bringing in 3-5 lures would make it really cost effective.

Love the 60g lures Sid, I think the main problem is many of the rods out there simply won't work them properly because they are a compromise between a true stickbait rod and a popper rod. The tips on these are not finesse enough to work the lighter stuff and they rip the baits out of the water rather than swimming them. On the right rod they swim absolutely awesome and are kingfish McNuggets

Yesterday they had both Sardine and Yellow/Black...........Today they only have Yellow/Black left, I will be surprised if they are still in stock by tomorrow.

Plat always have them around that price as that is what they sell for inside Japan. 7 -9k yen.

60gm, are effective lures and i agree you need a gentle touch and good rod to get them working properly plus reasonably calm seas.

I just hardly ever use mine (at that weight) because they don't cast as well, into the wind, which seem to be blowing every time I go fishing. Having said that I still have the mackerel one floating around my car at moment, coz i like to fondle a fishing lure every day.
