To fall in line with the non virtual clubs around the joint - how about making the pin "season" from July 1st ---> June 31st? that is

on July one all pin holders relenquish their tags and the "competition" starts fresh to keep interest going and more entries flowing....take for example the kingfish pin currently is pretty much unobtainable by mere mortals, so by resetting it to zero the first angler that meets the criteria holds the pin till it is bettered.

Obviously those that hold pins on June the 31st are the "champs" for that season and should accept a signature like.

"CHAMP SNAPPER PIN HOLDER 2004/05 SEASON"

or perhaps a "wall of fame" where we post the seasons winners....so folk in 50 years time go back and see how many fish you didn't catch Bender!

Yep, agreed.

All pins rescinded except for Boulders as he only gained it today and it is therefore classed as the new year.

Nobody has ever come up with a great idea after a second bottle of water.

Quite right and proper, FL - as, of course, is everything you suggest.

I've removed mine - didn't hurt a bit.

Must pop out and T/R a stripey on Sunday so I can have it back.

No thanks - kind offer though. As Roddy pointed out a week or two back, it looks like it's going through it's death thows in the corner of it's ludicrously small livebait tank. (Bent One. Tuna need the water flow afforded by tuna tubes - remember?)
