Thanks for that Monts and Damo, I was trying to think of what to ask what to bring, But it's all quite easy when I've only got 1 boat rod. All my other fishing gear is for surf and rock fishing. Just a case of which reel to bring, all egg beaters oh what the heck I'll bring all 4. Different weights from 4kg to 15kg, oh well, we'll just have to see what my mate's going to bring.Clap
Yes it was me, I screwed it up for everyone.

Yep load 4 rods, 1 set of each for mum & I, into truck & then onto boat, but may still slip that extra livebait / lure tosser rod on, "SIMPLE" heh heh.

Mouthu if you have any 7 - 8 ft rock rods bring them too, they should work a treat?? let me know on here by next week sometime, how your getting on with your other mates gear and I may be able to sort out a nice boat rod & reel for ya, or Spinning if you prefer. Thats what this site is about, bringing fisho's together no matter what Smile

Monts, my surf/rock rods are 12' X 2 piece, 14'6" X 2 piece and a 15' beach boss. I only have a boat rod for LBG because that's what I could afford at the time.

Crap!! Rachel sent the email out at 10am this morn, it never got thru xtra until 3.04pm. The missus was working on the net while I was elsewhere, so had kept checking emails. We left the house at 1225pm to go to pick up a couple of trial rods at whangaparaoa for the trip. Well I wasn't impressed arriving home & finding the email telling me of the cancellation after that nice long drive. I now have to drive to take them back, at least I will pick my custom rod up when I return them so its 2 birds with 1 stone, BLARDY TELESCUM with XTRA grrr.

Will have to get some more dates sorted for me & mum, we are both disappointed, at least where ever the weather comes from, we can get out in our little boat and catch a fish, but people never believe me until I bring them fish, funny that!!
