2 mates MJR and reelinauti went for a fish this morning.  Left the ramp at 6.30am heading for white and changed there mind, as so did the westher.  Here are a few pics to show you what went on.  MJR played with his Flyrod and landed 2 good fish about 6-7 Kg.  The 3rd was larger and broke the flyrod.  Then changed to the Stella 20000 with a dawiwa monster mesh and proceeded to have one of the best days theve had in the bay in a long time.  Reelinauti had to put up with his shgimano 30wide and heavy rod while hes waiting for his new OCEA 5000 which is on the water.   By 10 am they had 20 fish landed and returned to the water.  By 2 am it had changed to 28 fish more between 6Kg and 12Kg.  Reelinauti did impresively well on his TDL30.  MJR on his stella master had the time of his life.  MJR really appreciated the day out with reelinauti.  Enjoy the pics.

Yep the boys said it was a day to remember.  Cant wait for th big ones to come back in.  These jigs are super from sport fishing NZ great price too.  Learned alot from U hunter and UHD at the nationals about set up and process.  Cant wait to get a jig set up.  My mates stella is an impressive set up.  Good for us northern hemisphere guys who are used to the eggbeaters.  But bring on the big Kingis as im a keen saltwater fly fisho.

Nice fishing Billy, pity the fly rod blew up, ideal size those fish for a fly, presume it was the Gold Cup that snapped?

Hey guys, internet has been down. Well done, great day out, some new keen jiggers.

Terry you will be keen to put that new OC on the jigging master, is a lot easier than the TLD30, heard you had some sore arms by the end of it.

Sounds like you had some fun Murray, will have to keep our fly rods on the boat all the time now.

Billy will have to get Fugly out there, why was he left behind? Haha
