Just managed to secure a couple of the New Range of Casting Reels- lighter,faster-they come standard with the Apec 5 bearings installed and with a set of Hybrid Ceramics- ready to cast straight from the box. Can be used for fishing both salt and fresh .

Not surprisingly I have one . Its a tuned ready to go casting reel out of the box. Very Very smooth and fast.

Still got the normal carbon drag washers etc as well so should hold up to reasonable fishing.

was wondering if these would hit our shores, nice one Mark! with the faster retrieve ratio and "666" sizing it fixes the only 2 bits i'd change about the 656 shuttle so should fish very well indeed.

I put this under the casting events thread,

Due to world wide demand for these top casting/fishing reels supply is very limited until the end of Oct mid Nov,we will have a full range of the these reels at that time .At the moment the we have the only 555MMW available world wide. These reels are selling  so fast we can not keep up with demand here in  NZ and in Australia and in Europe/UK/USA.
We will have a full range of Akios reels at the casting events/demo's/training days  for people to have a look at along with a couple of the new rods as well
