Just a bit of an update
 
To answere the question
Pure jigging?
As this this plan in progress has originated from a Jigging forum I will go with the flow on what fishing we do.
If you want pure jig fishing the answere is yes, If someone wants to try something else that dont interfere with the hard out jiggers I dont have a problem with that.
I will be taking #12 fly rod, popper rig and jigging rigs, all that is fairly compact, I,ll just hire a big bottopm rig if required. Hey I dont mind even chucking a few lures out between spots.
And the weather !
Enchanter is 56ft long with walkaround decks, with six anglers, yehaaa

would love to join you CK but I have a trip with Lance to the 3 Kings in March.  2 trips of a life time in 4 months just might be too good to be true!  Did 2 last year.Thumbs Up

CW , its a tough life, I would have been keen to join in on one of those yehaaa trips, lot less hassle.

Going to be On a SI fly fishing mission for 6 weeks,through March/April then a trip back at sea to pay for my TAS.
Oh yeh I edited  the bit about my spin reel jigging. It should have read rod but under RIGHT armpit while canking with left hand, opposite as you stated. You must off been wondering if I had three arms or something.

Actually guys, I was just noting that since you didn't have a full crew, and hence might not be able to go, I already have several people looking to make up a crew for a trip(s) on Tagit. How giving you another option to think about is a negative I am not too sure. How putting another option for you to get to the Kings on a thread about getting to the Kings becomes a Hijack, I also don't know.
 
And as for My W Turkey's claim that this is all about my personal gain, you don't know me and you also are obviously completely clueless about what it costs to run a charter boat. If I leave Tagit up north for 2 extra months to run two or three charters to the Kings for forum members at under $2000 all inclusive, the real winners are the guys that go fishing. Go and find another quality boat with a top skipper that will give you a trip to the Kings at anywhere near this price. To save you the trouble, here are the current rates for some equivalent boats with quality skippers

striker $3200.oo

wild bill $2800.00

haliquin  $2600.oo

 
I might recover my extra costs and have enough left to shout the skipper and crew a few drinks. Don't make insinuations about other peoples motives unless you really know what you are talking about or you will end up looking like a turkey (ironic that!!).

Just in case  Mr tagit was refering to me in the above post.
My quals and experience obviously earn my income first and foremost, but also enjoy passing info on in teaching and training trainees we have come through our company, undermining others ideas ,opinions and lack of experience dont come into  it.
 
 
Just an update on 3kings trip
Des Flurane has contacted me by prvate message and pulled out ?
I have a couple maybe 3 leads to get back to me but apart from that shes all over rover.

I am struggling to find where mr Taggit was hijacking the thread?Infact it was Corokid who has "hijacked" Nauti1 thread. This thread was about forming a trip to three kings or joining a trip, I think some people should just pull their heads in..

Man Id love to go on this trip! shout me anybody?...thought not, looks like I'll have to hitch on a rusty commercial vessel again, on the bright side the decky does make a mean reconstituted mashLOL.

Have a great day on epic, I was jealous for a few seconds until I reminded myself what fishing adventures I have planned for the next three months. Seconds thoughts still a bit jealous.
