Why long jigs

Long jigs represents a large baitfish.  Any predatory fish will attack a larger baitfish more readily than a small one because it is more efficient to take large prey than small prey.  Hence Zest jigs will tend to attract the larger fish of any species that prey on baitfish.

Centre weighted jigs

The Hardy Long and Ruddertail represent this type of jig.  When dropped, these jigs will quickly zig zag through the water column to the sea floor attracting large predatory fish.  Jigs available in 5 colours of 160, 200, 300, 600gm.

Tail weighted jigs

The Super Deep is this type of jig.  When dropped, the jig will fall quickly with tail action to the sea floor.   This jig can be quickly “powered” to the surface or worked just off the sea floor like the centre weighted jigs.  Jigs available in 300, 400gm.
