Victron's new solar regulator
Victron’s new MPPT solar regulator can improve the “energy harvest” of an on board solar array, delivering up to 30% more clean, usable power to recharge battery banks.
The new era 50-amp MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) super-efficient solar regulator is suitable for solar arrays up to 700 watts (12v DC) or 1400watts (24v DC) with a maximum open circuit voltage of 75v. It has a peak efficiency of 98% and comes in a compact easy to install package.
Designed by the company’s new ex-Phillips, dedicated R&D technical team, the new Victron ultra-fast MPPT solar regulator is available for $795 (incl GST) from Lusty & Blundell’s three branches in Auckland, Whangarei and Tauranga or through their nationwide network of leading marine dealers.
