Update On the Nationals
The latest fish weighed for the Houhora Club and the Nationals were from the charter boat 'Cerveza II', skippered by Jeff Strang (formerly the skipper of Tagit).
The fish were weighed at 6am on Wednesday morning. Cerveza II having travelled through yesterday afternoon and evening from the King Bank.
Darryn Cherry had a 90 minute tussle with a 73.8 kg striped marlin on 8 kg line and fellow team member Mal McCaffrey landed a very nice 234 kg blue marlin on 37kg.
