To launch it’s as simple as this:

• Set latch to ‘Retrieve’ position.
• Release safety chain and release winch cable, so the boat slides back and is caught by the latch and set the latch lever to the 'Launch' position.
• The boat and trailer are reversed into the water to a point where the rear rollers are about 50mm underwater.
• Nudge the boat forward gently so the spring loaded catch automatically releases, then reverse or glide off the trailer.
