The Canon EOS 60D

Having had an earlier EOS model, the EOS 350D, it’s been a real step up to have had the use of a demo 60D for the last couple of weeks

This D60 came with an 18-135mm Image Stabilised lens as standard and that matched nicely with my existing 70-300mm IS lens.

In a nutshell the 60D is just a fantastic piece of kit. It feels good and solid and the quality of the shot is superb. You don't need to be a professional to take some really good shots and it’s so simple.

There’s heaps of shooting options from ‘point and shoot’ to full manual and everything in-between. A major advance is it also comes with HD video, so with a flick of the wrist, you’re taking video at high res and for fishing that’s going to be a huge plus.

I’ll let the pictures tell the story, however there’s only one thing I don’t  like about the Canon D60 that sits on my desk, and that is I don’t own it!
