Ron Gill owns and operates R & PD Gill Production Turned Parts Ltd and is the man behind Teloriggers. Teloriggers are anodized aluminium telescopic game poles and are designed for the use on trailer boats.
The great thing about Teloriggers is that they can be stored away in the cabin along with rods and other essential fishing gear and can be deployed as and when you need them. The reality for a small boat is that it often isn’t convenient nor practical to have permanently attached riggers for gamefishing. Teloriggers solve that problem, are easily stored and are a very cost effective option.
The initial set-up can take a bit of time but once everything has been done the first time subsequent use is a breeze.
According to Matt Watson from the ITM Fishing show, “TELØRIGGERS sectioned aluminium construction makes them stiff, so when a striped marlin whacks your lure, the clip will open and the lure is dropped back. If the rigger flexes on the bite the clip often doesn't open and you miss your shot. Add to this durability and ease of use and you've got a product perfect for the small boat game fisherman.”
Matt has been using Teloriggers since 1997.
