Simrad has released its new RS20 – a Class D, DSC-approved, NMEA 2000 compatible, VHF marine radio. The versatile RS20 is ideal for a variety of boats, from small RIBs to larger cruisers.
A replacement for the RS12 VHF radio, the RS20 offers: a new Startup Wizard; improved scanning features; a favourites shortcut for customizing your favourite settings; a ‘My Channels’ list, enabling users to scan only desired channels; a dot white matrix LCD screen with inverted light mode; four backlit mic buttons; and an easier front-mount installation with snap-on edge bezels.
The RS20’s controls layout is designed for left-hand operation, allowing for right-hand control of the helm. Available from mid-2017.
