Halo radar combines the advantages of Simrad Broadband Radar and traditional pulse radar systems to provide target detection as close as six metres, while also offering exceptional long-range performance up to 72 nautical miles.
In addition to beam sharpening for enhanced target separation control, the Halo radar can also monitor two distance ranges simultaneously in dual-range mode, with independent displays, controls and 10-target MARPA target tracking. Sportfishing enthusiasts will find the Halo radar invaluable as a bird-finder, able to pinpoint even small flocks from miles away.
