The Shimano Ocea Switch Bait game fishing rods are a new direction in game fishing tackle. Ideally suited to the latest Shimano Stella SW and Talica II reels and Power Pro braided lines, these rods are lighter and more versatile than traditional game fishing gear and more than capable of taking on New Zealand's XOS striped marlin and kingfish, broadbill swordfish and the mighty southern bluefin tuna.
Based on the T-Curve TC4 blank technology, Shimano Ocea Switch Bait rods are rated for use with braided lines, in particular Power Pro Hollow-Ace braid, but can also be used with traditional monofilament lines.
Distinctive looking Shimano Ocea Switch Bait rods are fitted with custom shaped fighting grips for angler comfort, ultra-light, hard-wearing carbon butt section and high-quality alloy reel seats. Fuji K shape anti-tangle guides and alloy gimbals complete the efficient and high performance design aspects of these stunning new rods.
