Shimano’s Dendou-Maru Forcemaster 3000 power-assisted 12V DC reel is a response to the growing demand for power-assisted reels, and to offer a lightweight alternative for the inshore fisherman who may need some help with fishing – or who simply wants the method to be easier.
The Japanese-made Shimano Forcemaster 3000 Electric Reel features: Hagane body; seven S-ARB roller bearings and two ball bearings; a vented sideplate; Heat Free II system; high-res LCD display; and a programmable jigging function.
The gear ratio is 3.9:1; max drag is 20kg; weight is 790g; retrieve speed is 210m per minute, with a maximum winding power of 63kg; and the capacity is 350m of PE5 (24kg) braid.
Available from Shimano retailers nationwide.
