The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) removed the marine biotoxin warning for the West Coast (Taranaki/Waikato) of the North Island between Oakura north to the Albatross Point south of Kawhia Harbour. Ongoing sampling of shellfish from around the Hawkes Bay coastline has determined that paralytic shellfish toxins are now at safe levels.
There are now no current warnings in place.
