Daiwa’s new Sensor Surf rod series builds on the pedigree of its predecessor, integrating a wave of new technologies that includes High Volume Fibre (HVF), combining lowered volumes of resin to reduce weight with an increased amount of carbon to deliver more strength, and X45 bias-wrap construction. Components include: Fuji Alconite K guides; Fuji reel seats; tough EVA grips; a shrink-wrap EVA butt section; and a textured ferrule grip for easy assembly/disassembly.
Sensor Surf rods are rated for 10-20kg line and 90-180g casting weights. Available in two-piece, 13-foot (3.96m) and three-piece, 15-foot (4.57m) models.
Distributed by Brittain Wynyard, Auckland, and available through Daiwa stockists nationwide.
