Scotty Trap Ease
Anyone trying to lift crab or light cray pots over the side of a boat or retrieving a longline or ‘puka dropper will realise how a short roller-tipped davit can make the job that much easier. Designed to be fitted to a kayak or a small trailerboat, the Scotty Trap Ease is manufactured from reinforced nylon and is adjustable to produce various angles. The unit could also be used to deploy a light dredge used as a game-fishing teaser, the arm extending 400mm beyond the gunwale.
