Saltist Coastal rods

Inshore lure fishing with lures, smaller reels and braid has prompted the development of Daiwa’s Saltist Coastal rod series.

Daiwa’s low resin, high strength and density carbon HVF blanks are enhanced with the latest X45 and 3DX technologies, eliminating blank distortion and twist and allowing a lighter, small-diameter blank to be made, resulting in a more dynamic rod.

Four models are available: the 802M is 2.24m long, rated for 6-10kg line and 14-50g weights; the 70H is 2.13m long and suited for 7-12kg line and 14-50g weights; the 70MH is also 2.13m in length but rated for 6-9kg line and 10-28g casting weight. Finally, the lightest of the group is the 70M. It is also 2.13m in length, but is rated for 4-7kg and 7-21kg weights.
