Those who spend any time in or near a saltwater environment will appreciate its corrosiveness.
Leading the fight against the effects of salt water on metal is the Salt-Away range of products which will be on the Wholesale Marine Direct’s stand 117 in Hall 1.
Shane Housby and his team offer a variety of salt-fighting options that range from a simple addition of Salt-Away concentrate into the bucket of water to sponge down your fishing tackle through to their sophisticated direct injection flush kits for inboard engines.
One of the most popular dispensers is the flushing mixer which is attached to a garden hose. Salt-Away concentrate is added into a small container attached to the device which is then dispersed through a nozzle and is perfect for washing down larger items such as boats, trailers, dive gear and caravans. The same unit is used to attach to an outboard flushing system to rinse out the cooling system.
Another nifty device is the flush bags. These fold-down bags, when extended, are placed under the outboard’s water intake, filled with water and a dose of Salt-away and with the motor running, flush out the internals.
Wholesale Marine Direct also does a number of other products applicable to the marine scene and includes fuel treatments, Mothers boat care and Bullfrog corrosion preventatives and treatments.
