Bill from Seaquel wetsuits in Auckland is a very talented man when it comes to making things out of neoprene.
These days many specialist rods are expensive and items you really want to look after., This is especially the case with many more rods having a high percentage of graphite in their composition and guides that are super hard but quite brittle.
With these points in mind Bill has come up with a simple neoprene sleeve to cover those special and expensive rods. The covers keep them in the best possible condition and free from damage in transit or while they’re in the boat and are east to get on and off.
Additionally it makes it easier to bundle them up and put a Velcro strip round a bundle of rods and know they’re not going to get knocked around or rattle.
With a couple of key measurements, Bill can make up a cover or if you’re in Auckland, take your rods in and see Bill and he’ll make you a custom set of covers.
