Rocna anchors SHHP certification creates massive demand

International demand for Hold Fast Anchors’ Rocna range of SHPP anchors has been such that their new manufacturing facilities are struggling to keep up with the demand.

“As fast as we are shipping, our anchors are selling out!” Rocna CEO Steve Bambury said.
Rocna Anchors were recently RINA certified for Super High Holding Power (SHHP).
RINA (Registro Italiano Navale, www.rina.org) is an internationally recognised leader in certification and assessment of conformity.

In addition, Hold Fast Anchors’ manufacturing facility in China is certified by the international societies Lloyds, CCS, ABS, GL, NK, DNV, BV and KR, as well as RINA.

Massive demand across the Rocna range has had an impact on Rocna’s overall business worldwide as dealers sell out of existing stock. Most have new stock on order, but with shipments already presold, there may be temporary shortages, admitted Bambury.

“We apologise to customers struggling to buy a Rocna anchor, but we can assure them that it’s a temporary situation brought about by unprecedented demand, which has grown exponentially over the last few months,” explains Bambury.

“The huge lift in customer demand, particularly in Europe and America, has taken us by surprise, but we expect the supply situation to rapidly improve as our purpose-built facility in China ramps up production.”
