Report a Poacher

The Ministry of Fisheries have set up a toll-free HOTLINE for members of the public to report illegal fishing and poaching.

If you see what you believe are illegal activities then call 0800-4-Poacher - 0800-476-224 and a compliance officer will follow up on your call.

It's only a few people that take more than their limit or undersize fish and there are some out there who are doing it on a large scale.  If we all are vigilant and report suspicious activity on our oceans and beaches, those people will be caught and prosecuted.
