Raymarine’s new a-Series multi-function displays (MFDs) offer all the advantages of big screen displays in compact, competitively-priced units ideal for smaller powerboats and yachts.
With a large 5.7-inch display, yet the same small footprint as a traditional 5-inch unit, the a-Series MFDs are perfect for both new and existing installations where space is at a premium.
These new a-Series MFDs are packed full of practical, innovative features designed by boaties for boaties.
These include a new easy-to-use swipe, touch and navigate feature, clever fuel monitoring and management software that can display a fuel range ring on the chart plotter, giving a constantly updated picture of the maximum fuel range as engine loads and speed changes; a super-fast fast dual core processor and a powerful graphics processor.
With LED screen technology all new a-Series also consumes up to 40% less power and provides superb viewing angles and clarity in all conditions, including direct sunlight.
The new all new a-Series range includes the a65 MFD for GPS navigation and networking and, for those keen to fish, the a67 MFD, with built in ClearPulse® digital sonar. Both easy to use and incredibly powerful, Raymarine’s ClearPulse digital sonar technology provides fully automatic, uncluttered and highly detailed images of both fish and the bottom structure.
Serious anglers can also easily add Raymarine’s new breakthrough ClearPulse® CHIRP sonar module for even greater definition and separation of individual fish and structures.
Thanks to integral Fast Raynet Ethernet and Bluetooth, both a-Series displays can network with up to 6 other Raymarine MFDs and also connect via Bluetooth with smartphones and tablets to remotely play and control music files. New software designed to link with Fusion 700 Series stereos adds another level of audio integration.
Both units also come with “Video over IP” camera support, enabling them to clearly display images from video and still cameras and thermal imaging devices.
Thanks to Raymarine’s much-acclaimed Raymarine’s intuitive LightHouse user interface, these sophisticated compact MFDs are both fast and easy to learn and control.
The a-Series MFD’s are waterproof to IPX6 and IPX7 standard.
An optional RCU-3 Bluetooth steering wheel remote allows users to control all of the MFDs functions without letting go of the wheel. It can also be used as a handheld remote using the supplied lanyard.
The new a-Series MFDs will be available nationwide from mid-November through Lusty and Blundell’s network of leading marine dealers.
