Sunday is setting up to be a cracker day. I can't decide if I am more excited about the cars, the motorbikes, the classic boats, the food truck, the bouncy castle, the amphibious Haines Hunter, the treasure trail or the weather!!!
When Kylee and I chose July 20 as the date many months ago it was obvious it would be a glorious day. Now we can see the weather forecaster agrees with us. The day looks to be a light easterly breeze with very little chance of rain. Temperature expected to get up to as high as 12 degrees. High tide at 3pm.
Fire up that Sunday drive you have got in the garage and come for a drive down to Tamaki Drive. Join in the fun, engage with members and enjoy a nice coffee and a fun atmosphere.
Bring your grandkids or grandparents, bring the entire family and enjoy a walk, bring a friend, everyone is welcome. Put the kids in the bouncy castle whilst you jump onboard the Haines Hunter Overlander and experience the land to sea transition on an amphibious vehicle!
A huge thanks to the amazing support of the Waitemata Woodies, Haines Hunter and many members who are putting a lot of effort towards making this all come together.
See you on Sunday
