NZBGFC – Press Release

The NZBGFC will be participating in the 2001 Boat Show this year. Objectives are as follows : 

1. To increase Public awareness ( that is existing and potential new members ) of Council and its achievements since its inception in 1957
2. To attract new Club members to the existing 50 odd clubs structure nationwide currently representing approx 30 000 members.
3. To attract new Clubs to affiliate to the NZBGFC, the largest and most structured and no doubt most financially stable Recreational Fishing body in NZ.
4. Promotion of the Tagging Programme currently undertaken by Blue water research.
5. To inform the general public and interested parties on the forward direction of the council for the future.
6. To make available to interested parties the NZBGFC handbooks containing Rules Records.
