This is a case study of the use of Nyalic on an Australian customs vessel ‘Arnhem Bay’

Sea-going is not easy but three years on, she still shines! A critical cost these days is maintenance of high value equipment. Replacement vessels have high cost, and in our climate there is plenty of corrosion eating away at our assets.

The longer we can maintain water craft, the better for our budgets - the more we can spend on other important equipment. The patrol craft shown above is at sea for up to eleven months a year. Sailing in an area with up to 100% humidity and high temperatures, Nyalic® clear has served her well - the hull was coated three years ago. 

Regular freshwater wash downs are nearly impossible on a working ship. Maybe an occasional tropical storm until next in port. Shipwrights report they have minimal on going surface repair required on this vessel or her sister ships equally Nyalic® coated.

Nyalic® resists engine temperatures and stops the airborne salts bonding and attacking the aluminium cores. Nyalic® as a coating on an acid washed surface or, on one prepared as natural alloy, the long wearing surface coating delivers a high performance coating.
