AGM & Prizegiving

$10 pork roast dinner at 6pm

 

Saturday the 26th of August at the Clubrroms on Tui Terrace.

AGM starts at 3:00pm

Prizegiving will be held after the meal - its a formal so dust of those ties and polished shoes folks.

55 Competiors fishing it out over Saturday & Sunday the 1st and 2nd of April.

The weather on the Sunday didn't help when the heavy rain and high tides meant the games had to be cancelled. Guess the hooks was able to go ahead with Wendy Thompson getting closest to the 909 hooks with a guess of 901. The other game prizes were drawn.

Snapper Catch

Junior lad Daniel Cross aboard the 'Inn Keeper' showed dad, and the rest of the competition, how to get the job done - catching the heaviest snapper at 5.130 (11.3lb).Not satisfied with just the ehaviest snapper he also caught the heaviest kahawai at 2.510 kg! For his efforts he won 2 rods and a reel, a filleting set,  fish smoker, scales, hat, net, tackle box and a hunting and fishing shirt.
