Originally released in 2008, Daiwa’s Morethan Branzino became a cult favourite amongst high-tech tackle fans for its strength and fine engineering. It was discontinued for a while, but has now been resurrected.
The high-speed model of the range, the 3012H, will retrieve an impressive 95cm of line with each handle revolution. Mag sealed, with 15 bearings, 7kg of drag output, a 200m capacity of PE 1.5 line, and a weight of only 280g, the 3012H is a high-speed workhorse.
Distributed by Brittain Wynyard, Auckland, and available through Daiwa stockists nationwide.
