Mercury Bay goes off......
On the first day of the annual One Base, 15 striped marlin were caught (4 tagged) and the heaviest went to the team on Crusader @ 135.6kg. A Blue was also caught and that tipped the scales at 211kg.
Latest report this morning is that a a Blue of 269kg has been weighed by the team on 'Black Pearl' and a good number of boats have been hooked up.
