MBGFC - Light Tackle Tournament

With 5 knot variables for both days this years tournament was fished in the best conditions for six years.Whilst the field of 33 anglers was down on previous years all of the light tackle experts were out there in fantastic conditions and catching some great fish.

The Club is grateful for the ongoing sponsorship from Derek and the team from Whitanga Sports centre and we also thank Michael Graves from the vessel Out a Here for donating the rods and reels won in this tournament for next seasons Junior Angler events. A fantastically successful tournament which saw a number of new / pending Club and potential New Zealand and World records.
