Last man standing will win boat

A $20 spend on Shimano product over the next five months might be all it takes to become the proud owner of a new Extreme trailerboat or take an overseas fishing trip to one of the world’s billfish hotspots.

Every $20 or multiples there-of spent at a participating retailer from September 1 through to February 28 on Shimano product will put the purchaser in a ‘last man standing’ draw alongside nine others.

First prize is an Extreme 545 Sport Fisher with painted hull and Nyalic-finished topsides, bimini, baitboard, boarding ladder, two covered seats and a rocket launcher. Powering the rig will be a Honda 100hp four-stroke outboard and it is towed on a single axle Voyager trailer, complete with WoF and registration.

Electronics include a Garmin ECHOMAP PLUS 755V sounder and transducer, with a Garmin VHF. The $55,000 boat is a turnkey package and ready to go with a full factory warranty.

It is not all bad news for the person who misses out in the final draw. They will be going on a week-long trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, on an Offshore Adventure hosted by Tony Orton. Included in the package is seven night’s twin-share accommodation; five day’s fishing quarter-share; fishing licence; airport transfers and return economy flights from Auckland to Cabo San Lucas.

But wait, there’s more – The person who makes it through to the last three and is then eliminated will receive a day’s fishing with Tony Orton hosted by NZ Fishing News, out of Mangawhai. The prize includes two-night’s
accommodation at Tony and Bea’s Mangawhai Lodge, and meals.

How does it all work?
On making the Shimano product purchase, the person will receive a unique voucher for every $20 spent. Spend $20 and you get one entry, spent $1000 and you will get 50!
The voucher has a code which is then registered on-line at www.shimanolms.co.nz, along with the receipt.
The last day to register your purchase is March 2, after which 10 entries will be drawn randomly by computer. Once it has been verified that all conditions have been met by the entrant, including having registered or presented the receipt, there will be the final ‘last man standing’ where the winners are found by process of elimination.
Entrants must be NZ residents, living in New Zealand, and be over the age of 18.
