Registration and Briefing:

Briefing and Registration will be held at the BOISC Paihia Clubrooms from 6pm on Sunday 27th December. Teams must register as normal before 7-00pm at either the Russell or Paihia Clubhouse of the Bay of Islands Swordfish Club.

All crews must be represented by a fishing member of the crew and must register and make full payment of Entry Fees and Tournament Memberships on this night to be eligible to fish the tournament.

 

Prize Giving:

There will be a prize giving held on Tuesday 29th December at the Paihia Clubhouse, starting at 7-00pm and all persons winning prizes must attend to be eligible for those prizes, this includes lucky draw prizes. Fishing Days and Times: Monday 28th December start fishing 7-00am Tuesday 29th December stop fishing 4-00pm Start Fishing: No tournament lines are allowed in the water until the 7-00am announcement on VHF radio CH3, Swordy Sports.

 

Fishing Area:

Northern boundary is no further west than Longitude 173E and no further north than Latitude 34.20S no further south than latitude 35.40S No eastern boundary exists. All fishing must take place on the east coast of the North Island within the prescribed fishing areas.

All fish caught outside this area are deemed non-tournament fish. Boats may anchor in Tom Bowling Bay but must not fish in this area.

 

Weigh Stations:

The Weigh station will be open from 5-00pm to 7-30pm Monday 28th December and 4-30pm to 6-30pm Tuesday 29th December. Fish can only be weighed on BOISFC Scales in Russell or Paihia.
