Hosking Trailers Backing Competition

We are looking for people who like backing up. People who are good at going fast while going backwards. People who know how to put a trailer exactly where they want to.

Most importantly, we want people who want to back their way into a brand new boat!

That’s right, we want everyone who backs themselves at going fast in reverse to come along to the Hutchwilco New Zealand Boat Show and enter the now almost legendary Hosking Trailers Backing Competition!

Here’s how it works:

With the crowd watching eagerly and friends and family cheering them on, entrants will have to navigate the Hosking golf cart and dinghy at speed through a diabolically challenging course, preferably without hitting any of the obstacles.

The 10 competitors who post the fastest times over the course of the show will then be invited back (on us) to compete in the Grand Finale on Sunday afternoon.

And the winner of that competition will have backed themselves into a brand new Stabicraft 1410 Explorer, powered by a Honda 20hp outboard, on a Hosking Trailer, valued at $16,995!

The competition runs over all four days of the show and contenders can enter every day if they like (but only once each day).

There will also be prizes for the fastest lady and fastest senior, as well as spot prizes for both spectators and competitors.
