Fishing 'wheels' wanted

Kiwis are an inventive lot, especially when it comes to making modifications to suit a purpose - number eight wire analogies spring to mind.

Beach anglers are probably more adaptive than most and there are some creative beach bikes, vehicles and kontiki carts out there, and they are not all held together by the proverbial “number eight wire”. There are some very professional and intriguing creations in use.

Over the next few issues New Zealand Fishing News would like to pay homage to these back-yard creations and feature them in the magazine and on our website www.fishing.net.nz

If you have a well-set-up and interesting beach quad, trike, trundler, trailer, torpedo cart, buggy, tractor or vehicle – anything that involves wheels – we would love to hear about it. Include several hi-res images of your beach wheels and any special features, along with a few words describing what you have done.

If you know someone with a neat beach vehicle, encourage them to send us the details.
