Fishing innovations at AOWBS

The Auckland On Water Boat Show is rapidly approaching, and a strong line up of fishing innovations will be on display.

Running from 27 - 30 September, this year is the 20th edition of the show and there’s several new release fishing products which will be on our list to check out. Pavilion three will hold a dedicated fishing area thanks to Hunting & Fishing Botany and Daiwa, which will be the place to find the latest and greatest of rods, lures, electronics and more.

ENL will be presenting Furuno’s new Deep Blue Series which has been designed specifically for the New Zealand recreational fishing market. The combo unit is easy to install and contains a smorgasbord of features including multi-touch display, RezBoost™ fish finder, internal GPS antenna and wireless radar capability.

On-water, Marco Boats will have its 650 Souwester available for sea trials at the show, with the new lean burn Suzuki engines and a huge Garmin electronic package of two 12” touchscreens, radar and auto pilot.
