FC Boats launch first contest

FC Boats have heeded the call of their passionate (and swiftly growing) community of owners, creating their first fishing competition, which will be contested over the weekend of 24-25 April.

The one-base style tournament, to be fished out of Coromandel Town, is already proving popular, with the limited tickets selling quickly. The competition is measure-based, following the best-practice model being adopted by competition hosts nationally. This format gives anglers the choice to keep or release their catch, whether it is 35cm or 135cm.

As with many one-base comps, entrants can participate in a shotgun start, pitting their boats against their competitors.

The Raymarine team will be onsite with their popular marine tech caravan, keeping everyone alert with complimentary coffee and up to date with live leaderboards.
