DB Export NZ Fishing Comp - October update

Exciting times ahead for the DB Export NZ Fishing Competition! We’re stoked to announce that we’ve got two new competitions to sink your teeth into. Plus we’ve got some new prize winners for the month

Firstly, congratulations to Darren Nunn on winning the DB Export NZ Fishing Competition most recent monthly prize draw. Darren was softbaiting around the Bay of Plenty on July 12 when he helped himself to a nice 53.5cm snapper. Darren has taken home the $750 Bradley smoker cobb cooker bundle. Darren has some mothership kayak trips tee’d up for the spring months and is excited to put the cooker to use.

CRC New Zealand Champion Angler

Have you got what it takes to become the CRC New Zealand Champion Angler?

You may be a day in, day out snapper slayer, a kingfish wizard or even a bit of a kahawai magnet, but are you all three? The DB Export NZ Fishing competition is excited to announce The CRC New Zealand Champion Angler competition – a new extension of The DB Export NZ Fishing Comp. CRC NZ Champion Angler puts anglers to the test across the board by challenging them to catch all three species. It goes like this: once anglers have caught a snapper, kingfish and kahawai, and submitted them to the DB Export NZ Fishing Competition, the collective length of all three catches are combined to make a total length. The total length is used to determine the Champion Angler on the CRC New Zealand Champion Angler leaderboard. Each fish can be caught and submitted at any time between September 1, 2020 and May 31, 2020.

There's a special edition hand-carved CRC NZ Champion Angler trophy up for grabs, a charter trip for two at one of NZ's top kingfish fishing destinations + spot prizes throughout for people who have qualified for the CRC NZ Champion Angler leaderboard. The Rock Hero Shot Competition

We are also excited to announce the new The Rock Hero Shot comp! Caught the fish of a life time? Sure! Didn't catch too much? No worries! Saw a shark take flight? Had a stag do on a boat? Or did your mate (or you, we won't judge...) have a bit of an "oopsie" at the boat ramp that garnered a few chuckles?

No matter what you've been up to before, during, or after your day on the blue, we want to see it! Enter your photos to The Rock Hero Shot competition, to help us celebrate being out on the water, as we document the life and times of Kiwi fishos, divers, boarders, and boaties.

All photos entered go into the draw to win monthly prizes which include a Victory Knives fisherman's knife set worth $300 RRP, plus some sweet merch from The Rock and DB Export.
