Daiwa Seagate

The new Seagate is built with virtually all components being corrosion resistant for maximum reliability. Designed and built for traditional boat fishing techniques, it will easily handle ultra-strong braided lines in addition to traditional monofilament. Seagate’s body frame and side plates are onstructed from corrosion resistant composite carbon for added protection and in addition with the CRBB bearing system it supports a rugged work horse gear train for reliable cranking strength.

The Seagate is suitable as a boat/jig reel and casts well. The ultra light aluminium spool is controlled by centrifugal brakes to help control backlash.
