Constructed with a die-cast aluminium body and anodised in matte black for maximum corrosion resistance, the internal construction of the Saltist SD uses Daiwa’s Digigear technology – a digitised high-precision cutting technique that is combined with a new-age alloy.
This allows a larger gear to be used, achieving greater durability, strength, and precision. Featuring stainless-steel ball bearings, a centrifugal braking system and a large carbon-fibre drag system, the Saltist SD provides a smooth 8-12kg of drag pressure, depending on the model. Available in a range of sizes from 15-40.
Distributed by Brittain Wynyard and available through tackle outlets nationwide.
