Daiwa BaitJunkie - Elastomax soft lures

BaitJunkie soft lures are constructed from Daiwa’s proprietary material Elastomax, a stretchy, durable, and buoyant thermoplastic elastomer which allows thinner designs to be achieved without sacrificing strength.

Elastomax is impregnated with AMINO-X, a natural based scent which masks any unnatural plastic odors. The addition of AMINO-X means when fish bite, they hold on longer, giving anglers more time to react and ultimately catch more fish. They are available in three tail styles – Jerkshad, Minnow and Grub. The Jerkshad, available in nine colours and 5 and 7” sizes, exhibits an incredibly life-like action not ever seen in a ‘fluke’ style bait. This is created using a slim waist with an exaggerated vertical tail fluke and a hinge-like body structure.

 The Minnow features a slim waist with a broad boot tail and a thin tail wrist to deliver high-pitch vibrations capable of calling in predatory fish from long distances. It is a smaller lure, available in 3.2 and 2.5” sizes and six and seven colours, respectively.

 Featuring a tail design which swims effectively at slow speeds, the Grub produces an irresistible swimming action and creates disturbance that allows predators to key in on the bait even when the water is not clear. It comes in two sizes – 4 and 2.5” and eight and four colours, respectively.
