Wish for Fish, a charitable trust that helps people with physical disabilities, mental illness and financial hardship to enjoy saltwater activities, is undertaking a major fundraising event at Alexandra Park, Auckland. To be held on July 21, the fundraising dinner is aimed at not only increasing the organisation’s bank balance and raising its profile, but also launching its supporter’s club.
The event kicks off at 5.30pm and is being held in the Tasman Room at Alexandra Park, Greenlane. It is a great excuse for anglers and the trade to get together for a good night while enjoying the spectacle that is harness racing.
